Code for MENA is a civic technology program led by SmartGov, a think-and-do tank based in Tripoli, Lebanon. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Contact form: your name, email address, and message, when you choose to write to us.
- Newsletter: your name and email address, only with your explicit consent.
- Donations: if you donate, your name, email, and payment details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store card numbers on this site.
- Technical data: basic server logs and cookies needed for the site to function.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your messages and questions.
- To send program updates and newsletters you have opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To process donations and issue acknowledgements.
- To keep the website secure and improve how it works.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run this website (such as hosting and payment processing), under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.
4. Program Participants
Information submitted by fellowship applicants and participants was collected under the program’s terms of participation and is used solely for program administration, reporting to our funding partners in aggregate form, and issuing certificates. We do not publish participant names or personal details on this website without consent.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required for accountability to our partners.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to communications at any time by contacting us.
